Quick Tips
Hold Pixy at eye level, arm outstretched, when launching
Pixy needs to see you so it can return to you when it’s done capturing you and your friends
Bring extra fully charged batteries
Pack extra, fully charged batteries for extra flight time so you're prepared to capture any adventure, big or small.
Give Pixy space to fly safely
Different flight modes need different amounts of space. You can check appropriate distances in your Pixy settings. Also, make sure you keep your fingers, clothes, and hair away from Pixy during takeoff, flight, and landing.
Don’t fly Pixy in windy conditions
Pixy's lightweight size makes it sensitive to the wind. For a smooth flight, little to no wind is best.
Don’t grab Pixy from mid-air
For your safety, hold your hand out flat so Pixy can land safely in your palm when its flight is finished.
Don’t fly Pixy in low light conditions
Pixy performs best in well lit conditions. Avoid flying Pixy in low light (like dusk or dawn).
Keep Pixy clean
Avoid landing in dirt and sand. For best performance, keep sand, dirt and dust from getting in your Pixy.
Stay safe and follow the rules
Make sure you stay safe while flying and understand any applicable laws or regulations where you fly. You can start with our Safety Instructions and Regulatory Information for more info.
