Pixy Settings

Updates

If a Software Update is available for Pixy it will notify you here. To update you will require a minimum of 40% battery life and Pixy must be on charge.

You can also set Pixy to update automatically when they become available. When selected Pixy will perform available updates if it is paired and on charge overnight.

Flight Modes

This is where you can adjust the settings for each flight path to better capture the moment you want to Snap. Clicking each flight path will show you the customization options, which may differ for each flight path. You can find more information on flight paths here, along with the default settings.

Importing

Under Importing you have the option to Save To….. with the option of going to Memories only (the default) or to Memories & Camera Roll.

To transfer using USB, select ‘Import via USB’ and then ‘Enable USB import’. Pixy will restart and can then be connected to a computer to transfer your Snaps!

Enable Lost Mode

If after a flight you find yourself separated from Pixy you can try Lost Mode to help you retrieve it. When activated Pixy will chime on a loop and the LED will flash red and white.

Once you’ve recovered Pixy, simply press the start button or turn the dial and lost mode will deactivate.

Clear Pixy Storage

Selecting this will show a pop up with either Clear Storage or Cancel. Clearing storage will delete any Snaps currently stored on Pixy, it won’t impact any Snaps you’ve already imported to Memories.

Restart Pixy

Selecting Restart Pixy in the app will restart your device and automatically reconnect you again after a few seconds. Restarting does not delete any Snaps you have on Pixy.

Unpair Pixy

As part of troubleshooting you may be asked to unpair Pixy. This option will offer you the choice to Unpair Only (which will require you to repair Pixy after), or to Unpair and Reset (which will unpair and also delete any Snaps that have not been imported and any user data).

Calibrate sensors

If Pixy has bumps into something, or even just over a prolonged period of time, the navigation may need to be recalibrated. Without proper calibration Pixy may drift a bit at takeoff or have reduced accuracy over its preset flight paths.

If Pixy needs to be calibrated you’ll receive notifications letting you know.
