Compatibility Guide

Many contemporary phones are compatible with Pixy - but not all of them. Make sure yours meets the minimum device requirements.

Pixy are compatible with: 

  • iOS: iPhone 7 or later running iOS 14 or above
  • Android: Select Android devices running Android 8.0 or above

Supported Android devices include: 

  • Samsung Galaxy S8 and Note 8, or later
  • Google Pixel 3, or later               
  • LG K71, or later
  • Motorola G Stylus, or later
  • OnePlus 7 Pro, or later

You should also be using the latest version of Snap (11.76 or above).

Keep in mind that these are the minimum requirements and are subject to change. You should always have the best experience using the latest versions of Snap and your phone’s operating system. 

Note that even if you are able to pair, if your device does not support High Efficiency Video Coding (HEVC) the images will be transferred below the standard resolution. For more details see the tech specs here.
